Angry Birds Trilogy

Angry Birds Trilogy is a puzzle game for multiple systems. The game features three of the Angry Birds  games, Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, and Angry Brids Rio. Angry Birds is about angry birds taking  revenge on pigs for stealing their eggs. Angry Birds Rio is about the angry birds being kidnapped and taken  to the city Rio, where they escape and save their friends Blu and Jewel. Angry Birds Seasons is about the  angry birds celebrating different holliday seasons around the world.

The gameplay is simple, launch different birds to destroy structures. Each different color bird has a different effect, for example the tiny blue birds split off into multiple birds, while the black bird can be detonated like a bomb. The motion controlls work great for this game, although i did get annoyed at it a little, but that’s because i’m not too good at the game.

The graphics for this game are 2D, and smooth, with childish looking character sprites. I did however enjoy how the pigs got a black eye if you hit them but failed to destroy them. The game ran smoothly on WII, with no problems or noticable glitches.

The sound for the Angry Birds Trilogy is fun, but it’s not something i’d listen to while doing anything other than playing the game. I did love the sounds the birds made when launched though.

There isn’t too much to say about Angry Birds, it’s a puzzle game that holds hours of fun, you can replay each level as many times as you want, and there are golden eggs hidden in the levels for you to collect. I loved this game for it’s simplicity and challenges, but i did not find myself playing this game for hours on end. I found that after playing the game for too long it started to bother me and I had to quit and play something else. Playing the game for a little bit is quite relaxing though, with it’s slow paced puzzles. I have enjoyed every part of this game, it delivers everything you want in a puzzle game, from the quick gameplay to challenging levels. I give this game a 9/10
